In 1988, Jeffrey C. Ingram founded Ingram Law Office in Nevada County, California. After 10 years of managing a busy litigation practice in Southern California, he left the city grind to raise his family in a small, picturesque community that he could trust. For the past 27 years, Mr. Ingram has specialized in wills & trusts, estate planning, employment law, real estate law and personal injury/plaintiffs litigation.
In 2016, Mr. Ingram was joined by his son, Jeffrey C. Ingram, II, or “Huck” for short, who had been practicing entertainment law, general commercial litigation, bankruptcy and real estate law at a large international law firm in Los Angeles.
JEFFREY C. INGRAM
Jeffrey’s practice focuses on employment, real estate, wills and trusts, estate planning and personal injury litigation. Jeffrey brings over 35 years of legal experience to his clients, who respect his ability to value and manage their legal issues. As a former insurance defense attorney, Jeffrey understands how to communicate with insurance companies to maximize your recovery. Mr. Ingram has also served as a court appointed arbitrator for the past 15 years, deciding tough cases involving substantial monetary claims. His experience has saved his clients thousands of dollars in litigation costs and headache, and allowed him to settle numerous six-figure cases over the past 5-years.
Jeffrey frequently represents employers, employees, landlords, tenants, real estate developers, real estate brokers, hotels, local businesses, restaurants and individuals who find themselves needing representation after an unforeseen event. Jeffrey has been an active community member for the past 28 years, donating his time to the Penn Valley Fire Department, Nevada County Airport, Nevada Union Peer Court, Penn Valley Little League, Girls Club Basketball, and Penn Valley Boy Scouts.
HUCK INGRAM
Huck’s practice focuses on real estate, wills & trusts, estate planning, personal injury, copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy and publicity rights, advertising, marketing, unfair competition, and entertainment law issues and disputes. He also has experience in financial services and appellate litigation.
Huck has represented real estate brokerages, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, apparel manufacturers, movie studios, production companies, record companies and prominent entertainers, and handled trademark and copyright enforcement proceedings for a wide variety of clients. His practice includes advising companies on how to protect and promote their intellectual property. Huck also aids clients in developing litigation prevention strategies and related counseling, including drafting internal policies and guidelines to help clients achieve business objectives while minimizing risk.
Prior to beginning his career as a lawyer, huck was a judicial clerk and extern for Justice Lawrence D. Rubin at the Second District Court of Appeals in Los Angeles, California where he was exposed to a wide array of civil and criminal matters.
